Laboratory of Veterinary Pathology

The objective of our lab is to educate veterinary medical students and graduate students for their succesful careers in biomedical research. The Lab of Veterinary Pathology provides diagnostic services to Seoul National University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospiral, local practitioners, field veterinarians, and zoos. Our reseach interests have been in the pathogenesis of viral, bacterial, and protozoal disease at the cellular and molecular levels and development of new diagnostic methods. Other areas of focus include the roles of inflammation on carcinogenesis and chronic inflammatory disease, such as asthma, and safety evaluation of various subjects associated with xenotransplantation and stem cell prior to clinical application.
