실험실 소개

학과목 및 교실소개

수의치과학교실은 동물의 치과 및 악안면 질환에 대한 진단과 치료 기술을 과학적 근거에 기반하여 발전시키는 연구를 지향한다. 주요 연구 분야는 치주질환, 근관질환, 치아 표면 질환, 구강외과 및 치과영상학이며, 질환의 발생과 진행 과정, 진단과 영상 평가, 치료 방법 및 예후에 이르는 수의치과학의 다양한 주제를 포괄적으로 연구한다. 연구실은 반려동물의 치과 질환 진단에 AI 기반 3차원 영상 분석을 적용하여, 치아와 치주조직의 형태 및 병적 변화를 객관적이고 정량적으로 평가하는 방법을 개발하고자 한다. 또한 반려동물의 구강 미생물군과 구강 환경, 구강 건강을 전신 건강 및 생활환경과 연계하여 이해하는 연구를 확장함으로써, One Health 관점에서 수의치과학의 연구 영역을 넓혀가고자 한다.
